It currently jumps to 7500rpm and creeps to 7600 after WOT for 20-30 seconds with the 1.6 ice cobra track on it. Underneath the hood, install a fan or two in the black panel plastic panel that covers the underside of the gauges. Watch the clearance with stuff under the hood, you'll have to find the right spot for the fan (s). Works great! If you want a good washer seal, try the Yamaha part # 90210-10004-00. Sold mine with 9000 miles on it in 2015 (2012 that I bought brand new) never had 1 issue.
