How to banish the grimm troupe

I’ve already watched and read tons of stuff about the game’s storyline and lore, and I think for this first save file I’d like to choose the Banishment ending for the Grimm Troupe. I’m not great at boss fights anyway so I wouldn’t mind not having the Nightmare King in my hunter’s journal or in Godhome (if I even manage the fight lol).

But i would say that carefree melody is a tad more useful than grimchild. If you've progressed to end game already and havent decided, i think you should banish since you don't have a good reason to use grimchild anymore in exploring, but if not then go for grimchild.
